The world gets more unhinged every day. Maybe the the correct term for it is “less hinged,” but “more unhinged” is what everybody says.

Here’s what we know: the hinges that have been holding it all together are loosening, failing, falling apart. We didn’t even know we had all these hinges, if we’re being honest with ourselves, but they must be pretty important, because all this unhingedness is turning out to be a real drag.

The media is no help. The big news conglomerates are incapable of comprehending a truly unhinged world. They are old and powerful institutions that have been build on a foundation of hinges. 

Small and independent media is mostly charlatans and podcast bros too cult-brained to experience Base Reality with anything resembling lucidity. And even the good journalists out there have a hard time processing the sheer Weirdness of it all. 

The Derelict Press lives in the Weird. The most powerful people on the planet are terrified of us. Probably. Seems like they’ve been scared of something lately. 

The things we publish will surprise you. The things we publish will also to some extent surprise everyone here at the Derelict Press Command Center, since we haven’t thought too much about what those things might be.

There have been a lot of meetings. You know how those go. Some “brainstorming” too. Okay, we’ve thought about it, but haven’t decided on anything. Which might not be the best way to do this, but it’s working for now. You’ve read this far, haven’t you?
